Los Angeles Football Club 2 announced today that the club has signed forward Adrian Wibowo to an MLS NEXT Pro contact ahead of the 2024 season.
Wibowo, 17, first joined the LAFC Academy at the U13 level during the 2017/18 season from local youth side TFA (Total Football Academy) Adrian joins LAFC2 from the LAFC U17 Academy where he was named to the 2023 MLS Next All-Star roster along with teammate Ajani Nixon. Wibowo scored the match equalizing goal (2-2) in the 89th min. for the West, sending the match into penalty kicks, where the West topped the East in the shootout.
A Los Angeles native, Wibowo made 10 appearances for LAFC2 in the MLS NEXT Pro division in 2023, registering two goals and three assists. Internationally, Wibowo has represented U-17 US Youth National Teams and has registered three appearances and one goal in international friendlies.
