Coming off a 2-1 loss to the Tacoma Defiance last Friday, LAFC2 will face Sporting Kansas City II in a Western Conference battle on Sunday, September 8, at Titan Stadium in Fullerton, California.
Friday’s loss dropped LAFC2 (10W-7L-6D) into fifth place in the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference, with 39 points from 23 matches.
Adrian Wibowo, who scored the Black & Gold’s only goal last Friday, leads the team with nine goals and four assists. He, Matt Evans, Luca Bombino, and Diego Rosales all signed short-term loan agreements with the LAFC first team for its match at the Houston Dynamo on Saturday night.
