LAFC2 fell 2-0 to Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 on Thursday night at Swangard Stadium in Vancouver, BC.
Whitecaps 2 struck early, taking a 1-0 lead in the 5th minute through Mark O'Neill. The Black & Gold were reduced to 10 men after Sebastian Nava was shown a red card in the 23rd minute.
Yuma Tsuji added a second goal for the hosts in the 72nd minute, securing the win for the home side.
The Black & Gold drops to 4W-6L-2D (15 points), and next takes on Minnesota United FC 2 at Titan Stadium in Fullerton, Calif., on Wednesday, June 25. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. PT and can be streamed on Apple TV – MLS Season Pass.
