First half goals by North Texas SC forward Tarik Scott (two goals) and midfielder Diego Garcia (one goal) followed by one second half goal by midfielder Diego Pepi were the difference to decide the battle for the top spot in Western Conference.
LAFC2 drops to 6W-3L-2D (21 points), and next takes on the Whitecaps FC 2 at Swangard Stadium on Sunday, June 9. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. PT.
