Mark-Anthony Kaye has been named to the MLS Team of the Week for Week 11. Laurent Ciman made the team as a member of the bench.
Kaye played the full 90 minutes in LAFC's 2-2 draw with NYCFC on Sunday. The midfielder had two tackles and two shots in the match, providing LAFC with a box-to-box presence throughout.
With the help of center-back partner Walker Zimmerman, Ciman held NYCFC striker David Villa to just one shot on target from open play. The Belgian defender's frequent forays forward led to eight interceptions, pinning NYCFC deep in their own half on numerous occasions.
