LAFC will release its latest streetwear collaboration with L.A. based Kids of Immigrants - a purpose driven fashion brand based in Los Angeles on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 9 a.m. PT exclusively at LAFC HQ, the LAFC team store at Banc of California Stadium.
The Capsule Collection marks the brands first-ever collaboration with a global soccer club and includes handcrafted garments designed and manufactured in Los Angeles featuring two t-shirts, two hoodies, and two hats created exclusively for this drop.
“It’s important to me that our fans feel represented and seen at LAFC because without fans, football is nothing,” said LAFC Sr. Director of Brand & Community Patrick Aviles. “That’s why this collaboration with Kids of Immigrants, a brand that so many members of our community can identify with, is important to us.”
"Kids of Immigrants is a brand, a movement and commUNITY fueled by love,” said Daniel Buezo and Debbie Gonzales on behalf of Kids of Immigrants. “We celebrate our roots and find pride in all the things that make us unique. Our mission is to inspire and empower all underrepresented communities – whether you are a kid of immigrant or not, our message is universal: support your friends, spread love and pay it forward.”
Founded in 2016 by Daniel Buezo and Weleh Dennis — both of whom are first-generation Americans — Kids of Immigrants is, in its own words, a “movement to recognize that we are all cut from different fabrics but together make a whole.”
The special collection will be available to the public exclusively at LAFC HQ, the club’s team store at Banc of California Stadium, on Sunday October 30th at 9:00 a.m. PT ahead of LAFC’s Western Conference Final match against Austin FC in the 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs.
