LAFC announced today the newest Golden Boot Club Partners, Postmates and Uber. After a successful partnership in 2020, the ‘Official On-Demand Delivery Partner of LAFC’ returns for 2021 with a renewed agreement that is an extension and expansion of the relationship to include the Postmates logo displayed on the left sleeve of LAFC’s primary and secondary jerseys.
Uber joins the Black & Gold starting with the 2021 season as the ‘Official Ride App Partner of LAFC’.
“This is another historic day for our Club as we welcome Postmates and Uber to the Black & Gold family,” said LAFC Co-President Larry Freedman. “Postmates and Uber both share our passion for innovation, community and inclusivity. We are proud to showcase Postmates on our jersey and excited to partner with Uber.”
In addition to being featured on the left jersey sleeve for the 2021 season, Postmates will serve as the in-stadium delivery partner at Banc of California Stadium.
“On behalf of everyone at Uber and Postmates, we’re thrilled to be joining the Black and Gold family to bring the best of both businesses to the Los Angeles Football Club,” said Jack Kloster, Head of Business Development for Uber in the U.S. & Canada. “Uber is committed to helping consumers go anywhere and get anything, and we’re proud to be doing so in partnership with such an exciting team.”
Postmates will also receive entitlement of the Midfield Box and Northeast Gate at the Banc.
Fans using Uber to travel to Banc of California Stadium will be dropped off and picked up in the exclusive Uber Zone located near the Southeast corner of the stadium.
Postmates and Uber join Delta Air Lines, Heineken, Toyota, YouTube TV, Kaiser Permanente, Target, Estrella TV and FLEX Power Tools as LAFC’s Golden Boot Club Partners. The Golden Boot Club provides exclusive access, visibility and experiences for LAFC’s elite level of partnership.
