LAFC hosted the first “Ladies of LAFC Night” in club history last week -- a networking event focused on women who support building community through soccer and sports in Los Angeles.
LAFC Owner and U.S. Soccer Legend Mia Hamm dropped in to address the enthusiastic crowd of over 115 women supporter’s. Hamm is the only female owner in Major League Soccer, and she spoke to the women as part of a panel that also featured the founder of the first LAFC women’s supporter’s group, the “Lady Ultras”, LAFC EVP and General Counsel Heather Brooks Karatz and LAFC Director, Brand & Community Kristen Kuhn.
The event also featured tours of the LAFC Experience Center, a freestyle soccer demonstration. The Ladies of LAFC Night helped reinforce LAFC’s commitment to inclusivity, community, and using the game of soccer as a vehicle for change in the City of Los Angeles.
