The reigning MLS Cup Champion Los Angeles Football Club is back for its sixth season in Major League Soccer with a week full of community events, player appearances and interactions throughout Los Angeles leading up to the Club’s home opener on Saturday, March 4 at 1:30 pm PT against the Portland Timbers at BMO Stadium.
The Black & Gold take to the streets of Los Angeles with appearances throughout the week at some of LA’s most popular locations, including an LAFC “Taco Tuesday Night” at TacosWay in San Fernando hosted by LAFC and MLS Season Pass broadcaster Max Bretos and the MLS Cup, LAFC defender Ryan Hollingshead serving the special LAFC version of the mochi donut at King’s Hawaiian Bakery & Restaurant in Torrance, and the iconic Pink’s Hot Dogs serving up the Pink’s LAFC Dog to fans.
LAFC continues to be a Force For Good in Los Angeles, with community events planned throughout the week that include a player-led session of “Mondays at the Mission” at United Rescue Mission and The Black & Gold Run Club hosting a community run at BMO Stadium on Monday, Feb. 27. In addition, students from the Sherman Oaks Center Enriched Studies program will visit the LAFC Performance Center on Tuesday, Feb. 28 and LAFC and BMO will host a youth clinic for students from the LAUSD Beyond The Bell program on Friday, March 3 at BMO Stadium.
Fans and community members should be on the lookout for pop-up events and surprises throughout the week including player drop-ins at youth soccer training sessions and special give aways on @LAFC (Instagram) throughout the week.
A full slate of LAFC’s bar partners will offer food & drinks specials throughout the week.
