The reigning MLS Cup Champion Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) have kicked off the 2023 Major League Soccer season with success on and off the pitch, including nine new and returning Golden Boot Club corporate partners. The Club’s Golden Boot Club platform is comprised of top tier partnerships, which provide brands exclusive access, visibility and experiences for LAFC’s elite level of partnership.
This off-season, founding Golden Boot Club member since 2017, Heineken, renewed its partnership with LAFC with a multi-year extension. Heineken remains the Official Domestic and Import Beer of LAFC, further establishing its commitment to the global game of soccer. Heineken’s renewal includes the extension of its entitlement as presenting partner all official LAFC away game watch parties for local bar partners. Enhancing its partnership with the club and collaboration with supporters, Heineken will now be the presenting partner of the Man of the Match, a honor bestowed upon the Club’s top performer – as selected by Supporters in-stadium – at all home matches won by LAFC.
Toyota, another Golden Boot Club founding partner since 2018, returns to LAFC with a multi-year extension to its partnership and have added entitlement to BMO Stadium’s North End Terrace, providing fans with an immersive brand experience in the Northwest corner of the stadium. In addition to the year-round in-stadium presence, Toyota will continue to deliver on its commitment with LAFC to serve the community through numerous programs and initiatives including serving as the presenting partner of the LAFC Street Team as part of its renewal.
“We are thrilled to have two of our founding partners in Heineken & Toyota, extending their partnerships with the Club,” said Kristen Kuhn, SVP Corporate Partnerships. “Both brands have played an integral role in launching the team and adding to our community & fan experience through various initiatives such as Toyota’s Science of Soccer program and the Heineken Supporters’ Bar.”
LAFC’s 2023 Golden Boot Club now includes BMO, the new naming rights partner of the renamed BMO Stadium, as well as 1800 Tequila, Flex Power Tools, Kaiser Permanente, PepsiCo and Postmates.
