LAFC will face Club León from Mexico in the Final of the 2023 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League (SCCL). The two-legged, aggregate goal series will start May 31 in León at 7:00 p.m. PST and finish on Sunday, June 4 with the decisive second leg in L.A. at BMO Stadium at 6:00 p.m. PST. Both games will be broadcast live on FS1 and TUDN.
LAFC’s scheduled MLS match vs. St. Louis City on May 31 and their game vs. Atlanta United on June 3 will be moved to a later date to accommodate the Champions League Finals. More details to come on rescheduled dates.
Single match tickets for the Champions League Final go on sale tomorrow, Friday, May 5 at 10 AM PT at LAFC.com. LAFC Season Ticket members will have the ability to purchase additional tickets beginning May 5 as well.
The winner of this elite, international competition will be crowned regional club champion and represent Concacaf in two FIFA Club World Cups, the 2023 edition in December and the expanded 32-club tournament in 2025. The current SCCL champion is the Seattle Sounders.
LAFC is the defending MLS Cup Champion and 2022 Supporters’ Shield winners. The Black & Gold advanced to the Finals of the 2020 Concacaf Champions League, losing 2-1 to Mexico’s Tigres. LAFC is just the second team from MLS to appear in multiple SCCL Finals.
