The ribbon has been cut and the doors are officially open at Banc of California Stadium.
On Wednesday, LAFC players, staff, and owners had a chance to break in their new home in the heart of Los Angeles. After a tour of Banc of California Stadium and training on the pitch for the first time, I had a chance to ask a few of the players to describe their new home in one word. As for couple others, I'll let their posts on social media do the talking:
Walker Zimmerman: Incredible
"It’s sets a new standard. You can just see the detail that they put into all the interior design. Obviously, the detail to the stadium, itself. And the Supporters’ section is just extremely detailed. It adds an aura about the place that makes it seem pretty incredible."
Benny Feilhaber: Amazing
"I’ve seen probably only about 10 percent of it so far. I have a hard time coming up with just one word to fully describe what we see. Amazing just kind of captures it as best as I can."
