LAFC fell 2-0 to Minnesota United on Saturday night at Allianz Field in Minneapolis, MN. LAFC is now 1-2-1 on the season with four points, and is still on the hunt for its first result on the road.
Minnesota jumped out to an early lead as Robin Lod gave the home side the advantage in the 16th minute and Bongokuhle Hlongwane added his goal in the 88th giving the Loons their first win over the Black & Gold since 2019.
LAFC returns to Los Angeles as they prepare to host Nashville SC next Saturday, March 23, at BMO Stadium. That game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT and will be shown live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and can be heard in English on the ESPN LA App and in Spanish on 980 AM La Mera Mera.
