LAFC dropped a 2-1 decision to F.C. Dallas in Frisco, TX Saturday night. LAFC was forced to play the final 77 minutes down a man after Ryan Hollingshead received a controversial red card in just the 13th minute.
LAFC (19-8-3, 60 points) still owns the best record in the Western Conference and took a 1-0 lead against Dallas when leading-scorer Cristian Arango scored his 16th goal in the 49th minute off the first MLS assist from Giorgio Chiellini.
The Black & Gold attempted to hang on, but Jesus Ferreira tied the game for Dallas in the 78th minute and then scored the game winner three minutes later off a free kick.
