Though we've yet to see what Brian RodrĂguez can do in Black & Gold. On Friday, we found out Uruguay thinks he has a bright future with La Celeste.
RodrĂguez is part of a squad of 24 players called in by Ă“scar Tabárez for friendlies against Costa Rica (Sept. 6) and the U.S. (Sept. 10). It is first senior-level call up for the 19-year-old.
A breakout star at the U20 World Cup, the recently signed LAFC Designated Player will join a strong attack with the likes of Edinson Cavani and Luis Suárez. RodrĂguez won't be the only MLS player on the squad, Seattle's Nico Lodeiro was also selected.
