Who We Are

The LAFC Foundation furthers our club’s mission of uniting the world’s city through the world’s game, bringing joy to people, and being a force for good in our community by supporting critical programs and bringing the indomitable Black & Gold spirit wherever we go. By supporting the programming and infrastructure that allow young people to access our favorite game, we provide not only fun and physical exercise – but also critical mentorship and a pathway to lifelong success beyond the pitch.

LAFC Wins the 2024 Kevin Payne Community Impact Award

LAFC is honored to receive the 2024 Kevin Payne Community Impact Award. This award is presented by the U.S. Soccer Foundation to a professional team that exemplifies what it means to leverage soccer to engage youth and strengthen under-resourced communities. Read more about the award HERE.

All ticket donations are offered to LAFC Foundation’s grantees and community partners. Through your generous contribution, we are afforded the opportunity to provide unforgettable experiences to individuals within the Los Angeles community who may otherwise be unable to attend a match. LAFC Foundation Highlights:

LAFC Reading Event

On February 19, 2025, to kick off the LAFC season, LAFC players Timothy Tillman and Nkosi Tafari visited students at Sixty-First Street Elementary School. Players honored Black History Month and connected through literacy by hosting a read-along that highlighted black culture and black authors. The activity inspired creativity, promoted learning, and built a sense of community through the experience of reading and storytelling.

LAFC x BMO x Thinkwatts Tournament

LAFC and BMO launched hosted the opening event for their youth soccer programs on March 8, 2025. The opening event, the Thinkwatts Youth Soccer Tournament, marked the beginning of our collaborative efforts to support and engage young athletes through organized soccer activities in greater Los Angeles. The tournament helped youth players to showcase their skills while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and community involvement.

Women’s Empowerment Panel

On March 1, 2025, LAFC hosted a Women’s Empowerment Night in partnership with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. High school girls attended the event of celebration and empowerment them by engaging with women involved with LAFC. At the events was a panel of inspiring female LAFC staff who e event inspired, motivated, and encouraged the next generation of female leaders by fostering a sense of community and empowerment among young women. Not only did the group of girls leave inspired, but they also received special swag bags!

Thank you to all who support our team’s critical social impact work. To date, we’ve had a positive impact on more than 30,000 underserved youths in the Los Angeles area. We are excited to watch this number grow exponentially in the years to come. We couldn’t do any of it without you!
