Force For Good Monthly - October 2025

LAFC Foundation Force for Good Monthly Newsletter

October was a month filled with connection, culture, and community. From supporting fire-affected neighborhoods in partnership with Lexus to empowering youth through soccer, STEM, and service, LAFC continued to show what it means to stand “Shoulder to Shoulder” across Los Angeles. Thank you to all our partners and participants who helped make this an unforgettable month both on and off the field.

Lexus Community Soccer Activation
/

In the wake of the devastating fires earlier this year, Lexus and LAFC united to support affected communities — giving back, uplifting others, and helping rebuild connections where they’re needed most.

Part 1: Pasadena – Villa Parke Community Center

As part of LAFC and Lexus’s efforts to support fire-affected communities, we visited the Villa Parke Community Center in Pasadena, where we donated soccer equipment and spent the afternoon with local youth. LAFC2 players joined and shared their experiences growing up in the game—encouraging young athletes to chase their dreams on and off the field.

Part 2: Palisades Charter High School – Boys & Girls Soccer Teams

Our next stop was Palisades Charter High School, where we provided new gear, including pinnies, soccer balls, an official goalpost, and met with both the Boys and Girls soccer teams. LAFC2 players connected personally with student-athletes by sharing their own paths to the pros and the values of perseverance and teamwork that helped them get where they are now.

Part 3: Match Day Experience

To celebrate these community connections, individuals from Villa Parke Community Center and Palisades Charter High School’s soccer teams were invited to a home match, where they received on-field recognition and proudly carried the LAFC crest pre-match.

MLS STEM Goals Tournament

To wrap up our first-ever MLS STEM Goals season, more than 75 students from across Los Angeles gathered at BMO Stadium for the LA Regional Tournament. Teams of two competed through four rounds of single-elimination play, showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in an exciting championship match.

LAFC captain Aaron Long joined to cheer on the students and share words of encouragement. He later reunited with the students at an LAFC home match for a suite experience and mid-game recognition.

A big thank you to our partners at Ticketmaster and Learn Fresh for helping make this inaugural season a success!
