LAFC today selected two players in the MLS SuperDraft 2023 presented by adidas. The Black & Gold picked goalkeeper Jassem Koleilat from the University of New Hampshire in the second round (#58 overall) and Southern California native, defender Noah Dollenmayer from Cal State San Bernardino in the third round (#87 overall).
Koleilat, 23, spent two seasons at UNH where he registered 41 starts and appearances in his career during the 2021 and 2022 season with an overall record of 32-6-3 (W-L-T). Koleilat’s owned the second-best goals against average (.427) in the nation this season. Koleilat transferred to New Hampshire after playing the 2019 season for Iowa Western Community College. He also played in the youth academies of AC Sparta Praha in Prague in 2018 and Stade Lavallois in France. (2016-2018).
Dollenmayer, 23, is a native of Thousand Oaks, CA and made three appearances and registered one assist for CSU San Bernardino in 2022. Noah played for CSU Fullerton in 2021, making 12 starts (16 appearances) and registering one goal. Prior to joining CSU Fullerton, Dollenmayer played two years at Oxnard College where he helped Oxnard secure the 2018-19 Conference Championship.
